What can we do to keep our kids safe and healthy?

  • Reduced class size to allow for physical distancing and more one-on-one time with coaches.
  • Sanitation Stations have been placed around the gym with hand sanitizer and sterilizing solution.
  • Nightly deep cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Adhering to the 50% occupancy rules set in place by the state.
  • Lobby occupancy strictly limited per recommendations by the governor.
  • SpotTV is provided to members to view their child’s class. Look for the app in your app store and request access.

COACHES
  • Staff members will be wearing masks at all times.
  • Temperatures will be taken before starting work.
  • Coaches will sanitize hands between classes and as needed.
  • Refrain from hugs and high fives.
  • Staff members will not come to work if they are sick.
  • Classes will be set up to allow for physical distancing and no waiting in lines.
  • Physical cues will be set up around the gym to assist in maintaining physical distancing when possible.
PARENTS
  • Take your child’s temperature before leaving the house. If it is above 100.4, please keep them home and call to schedule a make up.
  • Have your child use the restroom before leaving the house.
  • Classes will be given specific entry and exit doors to limit crowding in the lobby.
  • Lobby occupancy will be limited, and parents waiting in the lobby are asked to wear masks.
  • Parents of children ages 6 and older are asked to wait in the car unless their child has additional needs that may require them to be present in the building. Parents of preschoolers may wait in the lobby (especially if their child needs assistance using the potty). We ask that you limit spectators to one adult per child.
  • Please use our mobile app to make payments.

STUDENTS
  • Wear a mask when entering and exiting the building and when using the restroom.
  • Sanitize hands when entering and exiting the building.
  • Bring a bag to hold your shoes and mask during class.
  • Bring a water bottle (drinking fountains are closed).
  • Refrain from hugs and high fives.
  • Come to class dressed and prepared to participate.
  • Try your best to follow the physical distancing guidelines by staying at least 6 feet away from other students.

What happens if a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19?

  • Unless given specific directions by the Allegheny County Health Department, we will send an email about the positive diagnosis to the families enrolled in the class that was in contact with the infected person if that person was in contact within 14 days of the positive test. Anonymity will be preserved.
  • Individual classes may be quarantined by a class cancellation for two weeks if it is determined there was a high risk of contamination within the class.
  • Parents may use their discretion to determine whether their child should attend class if the class is not cancelled.
  • Make up classes will be honored for missed classes for any reason, including any type of quarantine, and will not expire.
